Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza
Want to have a little more fun with your vegan pizza? Well, look no further than this lovely pie right here. Packed with flavor, it will definitely leave you craving more since its finger-licking good!
Head of cauliflower, chopped in florets
1 cup of buffalo sauce
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup flour (all purpose or gluten free)
3/4 cup plain plant milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne
Preheat the oven on 450 F
Add the flour, plant milk, and spice into one bowl. Add the breadcrumbs in another bowl.
Dip each cauliflower floret into the wet batter then in the breadcrumbs. Repeat until all florets are coated and breaded.
Place on a parchment paper lined or oiled baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes.
Remove from the oven and dip each floret in the buffalo sauce.
Place back in the oven and cook for another 10 minutes.
Remove and let Chill a bit before topping on pizza.
Vegan mozzarella shreds of choice (I use the Trader Joe’s or So Delicious brand)
Garlic herb pizza dough (I use Trader Joe’s brand) or any pizza dough work for this! Just make sure it’s vegan
1 cup packed basil
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup vegan parmesan
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp water
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Blend all ingredients into a food processor until the consistency is blended well and is creamy.
Vegan Spicy Cilantro Ranch
1/2 cup vegan mayo
1/4 cup plain plant milk
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Handful of cilantro
1 jalapeño, chopped (optional)
Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until well blended. Cool in fridge until ready to serve.
Prep the pizza crust and preheat the oven based on what it says on the package.
Once dough is kneaded and spread on pan, use a spoon to scoop and spread the pesto on top of the dough.
Sparkle on the vegan mozzarella shreds.
Add on the cooked buffalo cauliflower.
Bake for 15-17 minutes or until the pizza is golden brown. (Time vary based on the kind of pizza crust you have so check your packaging)
Remove and drizzle the spicy cilantro ranch on top!
