"Slutty" Brownies

Take a step onto the wild side with these bad boys. A bomb combination of cookie dough, Oreo cookie and brownie mixed together to truly set off all the right feels inside your body. What make this dish even better is that you can use the cookie dough recipe to bake chocolate chip cookies and the grain-free brownie recipe to bake gooey brownies. Or you can just be extra and make this dish every time. It is a win-win situation regardless.

Brownie recipe

1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

3/4 cup cookie butter (I use Trader Joe’s version or the Biscoff brand; can also use a nut butter if you don’t have an allergy or sunflower butter if you do)

1/2 cup cocoa powder

2 tbsp corn starch

1/3 cup agave

1/2 cup sugar

1 tbsp flax meal

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix the flax meal with 2.5 tbsp of water to make a flax egg. Let sit for 3-4 minutes to set.

Mix cocoa powder, corn starch, agave, sugar baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, and flax egg in a bowl. The mixture will be thick when you do this.

Add in the cookie butter. It will be a bit difficult to mix due to the thickness.

Slowly fold in the chocolate chips.

Set aside while making the cookie dough

Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

2 cups flour (gluten free or all purpose)

1/2 cup vegan butter, softened

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 cup nondairy milk

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Place flour in a bowl with baking powder, baking soda. Mix in the butter into the flour.

Add in the sugar and mix together

Then add in the vanilla extract and plant milk.

Once dough is mixed well, slowly fold in the chocolate chips.

Oreos (I used the organic Newman’s brand but you can use whatever kind of “Oreo” cookie you prefer)

Preheat oven for 350 F

Oil a 9 x 9 pan and place the cookie dough inside the pan. Spread evenly

Add in the Oreo cookies on top. Leave 1/2 inch in between.

Add the brownie mixture on top. Spread evenly and make sure the batter is in between the Oreo cookies when spreading. Press down a bit to ensure it is connected to the rest of the other cookies.

Use a spatula to make an even surface on top.

(Optional) Crumble some Oreo cookies and place on top of the brownie

Place in oven and bake for 35-37 minutes or until pick comes out clean. (It can be a bit dirty if you like gooey brownies)

Let cool for 10-20 minutes before removing and cutting from pan.

Enjoy!
